Electro-Optics & Spectroscopy Design


The heart of a high-performance analyzer is its optical bench. We provide specialized design for Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) and Ultraviolet (UV) multi-gas analyzers, focusing on maximizing signal-to-noise ratios and long-term baseline stability.

 

  • Optical Path Engineering: We utilize advanced simulations to design folded-path and multi-pass cells, optimizing path length according to the Beer-Lambert Law to achieve the required detection limits for trace gases like SO2, NOx, CO, and CH4.​

  • Component Optimization: Our expertise includes the selection and integration of high-stability IR sources, narrow-band interference filters, and optimized detectors (including Pyroelectric, Thermopile, and MCT sensors).

Embedded Controllers & Firmware Development

Precision spectroscopy requires sophisticated electronic "brains" to handle low-level analog signals and high-speed data processing. We design custom hardware and firmware that act as the backbone of your instrumentation.

 

  • Hardware Design: We specialize in low-noise analog front-ends and digital control boards, primarily utilizing the STM32 and ARM microcontroller families for high-efficiency processing.

  • Intelligent Firmware: Our firmware solutions include real-time digital filtering, non-linear temperature and pressure compensation algorithms, and automated calibration routines.

  • Industrial Connectivity: We ensure seamless integration into plant-wide networks through standard protocols such as Modbus TCP/RTU, 4-20mA isolated outputs, and IoT-enabled remote diagnostic modules.

Gas Sampling Systems & Integration

An analyzer is only as accurate as the sample it receives. We provide the mechanical and process engineering expertise required to ensure your analytical bench receives a clean, dry, and representative sample.

 

  • Conditioning Expertise: Design of heated probes, high-efficiency sample coolers, and moisture removal systems tailored for Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS)

  • System Packaging: We offer full-system integration, including the design of analyzer shelters, rack-mount enclosures, and specialized enclosures for hazardous areas (ATEX/IECEx).

  • Turnkey Support: From in-situ cross-stack configurations to extractive sampling loops, we engineer the entire interface between the process and the detector.
